Information please. After seeing this post for 3:27
Triumph rear gears. Can someone inform me on how to
tell by year or some other way other than counting
teeth the ratios of Spitfire and GT-6 rears. I'm
looking for a quick way to tell the difference between
a car equipped with a 3:27 vs a 3:89 in a GT-6 and a
3:89 vs a 4:11 in a Spifire. Taking in that the car is
still running its original gears. Sure would help in
salvage yard hunting.
