Thanks to all that responded, as usual the were a small deferences in
opinions. I guess the general concences is they are not botching the job
however my truck with 5000 km 3000mi will not be exactly as factory rustwise
and I live in a fairly corrosive environment.
I should add that this was my first oil change and it was dropped from
the lift at the dealer where I bought it. They sent me home with it and told
me to call the body shop in the morning. I took time from busy day to go
over to show it to body shop met with all the department managers, got
treated as a nusance, they took 1 week to get back to me with an appointment
for 1 more week later. I must add at this point that at no time did I ever
get angry or abusive or insistent upon anything (mistake). When you have 2
weeks to fester over something problems magnify (service lesson). Anyway I
have a meeting Monday Am. with company president who seems to be be
sympathetic.
