FWIW, I believe the Moss illustrations to be wrong, in that the Dzus
buttons pictured are for the side curtains. The hood buttons are
slightly different, there should be a spring under the head of the
button that causes it to pop up when unlatched, and a ridge at the
bottom of the button that holds a retaining washer that prevents the
button from popping through the hood.
Both types of Dzus button should have a retaining washer, which is not
illustrated. The side curtain buttons have a groove just under the head
where the washer goes.
