Hello everyone,
I'm planning on putting back all the clutch hydraulics in the spit tonight
(now that both the master and slave have been rebuilt) and I have a question
(duh!).
When I removed them from the car it was a bitch of a job 'cause the bleed
nipple and the pipe were seized. Can I use anti-seize compound on all the
threads (bleed nipple and pipe attachments)?
I will be using silicone fluif ;-) and was wondering if the compound will
cause any problems.
BTW, for the gas tank cleaning, the majority of responses suggested to use
plain new gas or paint thinner (or something similar) and use a filter near
the tank. I will try a few things and let you know the results. As for the
sealer, the consensus was to NOT use any, especially if the tank is not
leaking, 'cause they have the bad habit of disintegrating after a few years.
Once again, TIA
Steph
