Jim...I have a hard copy of one thread on the list from Ian McLeod who 
lightened the flywheel on his '76 TR6. He removed about 10lbs. Didn't specify 
exact location.
He recommends having it performed by a competent/experienced speed shop or 
machinist.
He thanked Brian Schlorff of Power British in particular, for info and help.
