A straight and level frame does not mean the doors, deck lid or bonnet are going to line up correctly, that is the reason for the pads, spacers and added support on the frame to chassis mounting, the body has some sags, and a few added distortions after 45 years, if you don't beleive that, go look in the mirror at yourself, not the same as it use to be is it.
