Easy fix:
1. Later (TR4 or 4A Radiator w/o the neck).
2. Install an "original" Smith's thermostat (158 deg) with the sleeve to cut
off the cut off pipe.
3. A 6-blade fan (also from a later car... late 4 or 4A).
I made these changes 10 years ago and have never overheated... even at a
steady 80 MPH for an extended period, or in traffic.
