By 9:00 tomorrow, we will be enroute to TRA 2000 in "the Toy" - the great
trip of the year for the freshly restored baby.
The car is running like a dream, and shifting smooth as silk after the
clutch problem was solved, as I postd before our trip to Spain.
Thetransmission was flushed with ATF (after 140 miles, minimal if any
metallic specs on the coffee filter)- and refilled with 45% ATF and 55%
85-90-140 Gear Oil. I now fully recommend such a gear oil mix (NON OD)!

I even have the car wired for switchable units-FM Stereo, a Casette deck
and the original '69 8-track unit from the TR's Oklahoma- Woodstock trek
days.

I even finished up the new Tonneau installation this past weekend!

We have plannned a scenic route avoiding the interstates, and just this AM
learned of several other MD TRA affiliates
with whom we will touch base with at the IHOP on York Rd. N of Towson @
9:30
I understand some are trailering show cars, but a 3 and 6 are drivers, like
my 4- sounds like a nice 'Triumph Convoy' in the making!

Didn't spot any TR's in Spain, but did see an MGBGT, an MGF, and soome
recent Jags 'S''s, XJ sports, on the roads and XJ8's in Mardid. Would have
loved to have had the TR or the XJR on the Costa Del Sol!

Hope to meet many more of 'us' there in the Poconos.
