Hi Roger,

I wonder if your rear brake shoes could be rubbing against the drums. I
found that the number of clicks that I had to back off the adjustment was
more than the book said. Have you jacked up the car and made sure that the
rear wheels aren't rubbing?

Why do the brakes lock up after 200 feet? If you had some air trapped in
the rear cylinders and/or lines, (improper bleeding) and the rear brakes
were rubbing, lots of heat would be generated which would expand the air and
lock the brakes. Just a guess....

You can always tell if the brakes are rubbing. Just feel the wheels after
driving and see if they're hot.

Hope you can make it up to the NH show Sunday. I'll be there. You can go
by all country roads -- no highways.
