I found a way to open the hood in 5 min or less!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You take the plastic vent off the air vent hole. You then drill a 17/64 hole
inside at the front passenger side (there is a small ledge there) it is directly
behind the latch lever. Using a 9"-12" phillips screw driver , you put it
through the holr feeling the lever side of the latch. Angle the screwdriver to
where you can feel the lever, then push towards the drivers side opening the
hood. 5 min. for the whole process. The vent grill covers up the hole.
