>While scrounging some parts off the spare Model ten today, I wanted to

the side panels and ran into difficultly removing the wind up window and
door latch handles. There appears to be a spring that needs to be
compressed but beyond that, I'm lost. I presume there is some sort of clip
holding the handles on, but could not see anything in particular.
Suggestions appreciated.

If they are like the later TR's there is a pin that passes through the
handle and through the square shaft on the winder. You have to compress
the panel enough to expose the hole and push it through with an ice pick or
something similar. (Remember what an ice pick is? You don't see those
much these days.) Sometimes, when you're lucky the pin falls out and you
can't find it. But that's why God invented coat hangers.
