Pat,

Get a set of the Family Band Radios.  I got a pair from Radio Shack last summer 
for the VTR trip and they were great.  Handheld and crystal clear with lots of 
range.  And you can use them for anything else that comes up.

I paid $99 each last year.  I saw the same model on sale for $69 in my last RS 
flyer.  BTW.... get the better one with the 36 subchannels... just as good as a 
digital cellphone for short distance.
