You should have no trouble at all (assuming your car starts reasonably
easy). I've done the same thing in my TR3 for several days, including
several starts. However, it may shorten the life of your battery (car
batteries don't like being run down). Most likely, you can simply pull
the plug out of the alternator, leaving the belt and charging output
still connected.
