Hello listers,
Yesterday was change the ratchet day on my TR3.
Today while I was installing the SS bake lines I had trouble with the line
going from the front union to the rear. The old line runs along the frame
and through two holes in the cross members. The line came out of the
front hole easily. Large oblong hole. But is not wanting to fit through
the rear hole. Small round hole smaller than rear fitting.
I can't take the line forward through the small hole because of the fitting
and I can't take the line out rearward because of the U bend for the Jack
hole.
I can cut the old line but the new line will have the same problem in
reverse.
At this time the only way I see that it will go in is if I take the tub off.
And I do not want to do this now.
Has anyone any suggestions? Anyone have a similar experience?
Or am I too tired to see the solution?
The car is a 1957 TR3 TS21383L
Thank you for the help.
