I had a '59 TR3 in the 1970's and as far as I can recall, it did not have a radiator shroud. And, I never had problems with overheating. I lived in Savannah, GA. I drove the car all over town, lived in Atlanta a couple years and drove it there. Also drove it down to DelRay Beach, FL on the interstate (a round trip of close to 1000 miles).
