>Folk,

I am new to this group and I have a question about adding a spin-on oil
filter adapter to my '75 tr6. Any info about the HW, places to buy it
and the conversation will be much appreciated.

Regards,

Saeed.

Boy, you just missed it. There was a long discussion about how bad the
Fram filters have become. Lucky you.

Anyway, Welcome to the list. I put one on my TR6 and found that oil
pressure builds up more quickly and the filters are much easier to find (I
use the Motorcraft FL400A). The adapters are available from any of the
larger parts suppliers such as Moss, Victoria British or The Roadster
Factory. You can position it so that the filter points downward just
forward of the clutch slave cylinder and there is no drainback (the filter
stays full).

Good luck,

Dave
