I am re-assembling my '73 TR6. This is one of those deals where I didn't
take the car apart, and the guy who did, died. Not from the work, mind you,
from a shotgun. But that's a long story.
I have a terminal that branches out from the wire harness under the hood
near the left brace that runs from the wheel house to the radiator support.
There are two black wires that appear from the wrapped harness, that go to
a closed ring terminal. The wires are about 6 to 8 inches long. The "radius
of attachment" could lead to the radiator support bracket, the alternator
attachment bolt, perhaps to the body itself, or maybe somewhere else. I am
99% sure that it is a ground, but I don't know where it should be fastened.
Tips welcomed.
Thanks.
