America's biggest Mexican food company yesterday announced it was to create
more than 200 jobs in the UK in a bid to spice up its European market share.
Mission Foods said it had chosen the UK for its European headquarters and
would spend 16 Million GBP creating a manufacturing plant.
The company will begin work on a site at the former Triumph works in Coventry
at the end of the month.
Managing director Nick Houghton said Europe was an 'untapped market set for a
boom in Mexican cooking'.
