To check out if the block is overbored you need to measure the bores, no other
way of determining it. Piston rings are not really siutable for that. AS to
the ring gap, the bigger the gap, the more blow by you might get. I'm not sure
as to what the gap in the factory manual is so better check that. The
difference between the normal gap and you gap seems to be very minute, so you
might not be worried. If you don't have the gap from the factory manual give
me a shout and I'll look it up.
