[Fwd: TR6 ring gap]

List,
No one responded to my earlier post so I'll try again with some
additional information: I called BPNW and they faxed me the instruction
sheet that should have been packed with the rings. According to their
spec. sheet, the "normal" gap for rings in TR6 size bores is .008" to
.014". The "maximum gap" is .08" to .024" Since my gap is .018", it
falls in their "maximum" range, but outside the normal range. I don't
feel comfortable with Abby Normal ring gaps. Is this a problem? Not my
conformist tendencies... the ring gap. I've never come across rings
that were too short. Always had to file them a bit, or they were in
spec.
If no one on the list feels qualified to give advice in this matter,
does anyone know how I can get in touch with someone who might.
 Help!
