A noble treatise, Michael! Well thought out and, as always, flawlessly presented. You omit one thing - albeit an assumption on my part. Big boys (and some big girls too), even big boys/girls with paid off mortgages and kids out of college, are still little boys/tomboys at heart. And little boys/tomboys love their toys. I'm not ashamed to admit I love my toys even though sometimes they can precipitate a buying decision between the sort of food I'd LIKE to eat and what I HAVE to eat in order that they can be 'fed' as well.
