In the last year or so I have replaced both interior panels and carpet in my
TR6. You should glue the insulation to the back side of the carpet and
interior panels. NOT to the floors or the car itself. They should be clean
and dry. I used water heater insulation (you know that silver stuff) and 3M
trim adhesive spray. I glued insulation to the back of EVERY piece of carpet
and interior panel. Works great. My TR6 is now cool and dry.

Hello,
I am installing a new interior along with the sound deafening insulation.
Should the insulation be glued to the floor panels?
Thanks?
