Ronald, I've used the black oxide kid for bolts on my TR4 and am quite
impressed with it. However, the car hasn't seen the road so I can't say
what the durability issue would be like. As far as easy of use, well its
as simple as it gets. Sandblast the bolt, dip it in the solution for about
20 seconds or so, then dip it in sealer for a minute or two. Then hang em
out to dry! Drying time varies depending on the weather. You'll probably
also have to wipe the residue off when done. The oxide seems to hold up
fairly well to a wrench also.
