TWIMC,
Don't know whether any of you read "Car Talk" in the Sunday papers, but
one of the questions asked yesterday concerned winter storage and
battery care for an (ugh) Buick.
The gist of the answer was that any car stored for only four months
doesn't require any special attention, just pull it into the garage and
shut down. The battery would benefit by being disconnected, but doesn't
require a trickle charger or any other special care. Just reconnect the
battery four months later, start the car, and drive away.
Hmmm. Interesting! Will have to remember this approach when we get into
storage discussions in a couple of months. Personally I think these guys
are absolutely brilliant since that's what I've been doing with my LBC's
for 40 years.
