Joe, There's no magic, just labor intensive. Got to remove the the dash first. Then, there's, (as I remember) two screws on each side. One needs to be loosened, the other, at the end of the post needs to be removed. After that, it's just a lift up evenly on both sides. It's alot easier with two people since it should be lifted evenly on both sides. Just two suggestions - use a rubber mallot at the end of each stud if it seems stuck, also replace the 25+ year old rubber insulation since it's an opportune time Since, Jeff N '72 TR6 |
