I'm met several people over the years who have brought their cars over while on temporary assignment from the UK; You should contact your Consulate/ Embassy on the legal issues. All documentation on insurance/registration and current tag is required without transferring registration to Kentucky. In other words , you would keep the current registration plates on the Stag.
