I have heard that the problem is with NEW Borg & Beck clutches.
The story (which I cannot confirm) is that their TR-6 tooling is basically
worn out and is no longer making clutches 'in spec', and they have not
announced plans to retool.
An older B&B clutch lasted me over 40,000 miles. It's the NEW ones that are
(IMHO)
junk. In any case, I think the 'new improved' clutch design is still much nicer
that an
in-spec B&B clutch ever was.
