Malcolm, If it was on the inside of the windscreen it sounds as if you had
some condensed moisture in the heater box and the heat caused it to vaporize.
It then blew onto a cooler windshield and condensed. Might want to check
your heater connections at the heater and check the heater core. You could
do that by opening the heater for a short time and then shutting it down for
awhile. TThat would cause any moisture to condense in the box. Then try the
same thing that you did today and see if it happens again. Let us know.
