I recently installed them as part of a full front suspension rebuild,
and I'm quite happy with the results. Of course it's difficult to say
how much is due to the Nylatron and how much is other changes (like from
very hard Michelin MXL 185/65 to fairly soft Yokohama AVS-I 195/50
tires), but the overall effect has been more precise handling, less
wander and bump steer, smoother ride, less steering effort (feels almost
like power steering now), etc.

I also expect the Nylatron to far outlast the stock rubber upper
bushings, which never seem to make it past 2-3 years in California's
smog.

So, I'd say the advantages are longer life and better handling without a
harsher ride. The only disadvantage is the need to ream when
installing.

They are probably pretty equivalent to the polyurethane bushings, except
that I've heard the poly can squeak, and I don't expect the Nylatron to
ever do so.
