OK, this is slightly off topic, but there may be enough interest here to
save this one from the crusher.
A mid 1950s Standard 8 will be scrapped when an acquaintance moves house
sometime this week, unless someone takes it off her hands first.
It is quite solid, I think the number is original and it has a V5. Rear
wings have been removed as part of an aborted restoration.
This is far too good to scrap.
The car is in North Wiltshire, and will need to be trailered.

but please hurry, tomorrow may be too late.....
