Some anti-seize on the threads is a good idea, to prevent corrosion and
galling, and make it easier to disassemble next time. (SS is actually quite
bad about galling to dissimilar metals.) I like FelPro On-n-Off. But, be
sure you don't get it inside the lines, especially the brake and clutch
lines.
You shouldn't need any kind of sealant though. If a joint leaks when
properly tightened, there is something mechanically wrong that must be
fixed, not 'covered up' with sealer. This is especially true of brake
lines.
