I cannot comment on the speedometers sent to SA, but if you would like a
genuine MPH model, I am prepared to swap.

AFAIK, you are correct about the OD; it should work on 3 and 4 only.  You
may have an earlier OD gearbox or perhaps even a substitute engine and
gearbox.  Check the engine number.  I have heard it said that the earlier A
type OD is better, but I do not know why.  An earlier engine would probably
give you the mythical 150 HP.

The low indicators, raised bumpers and Union Jack badges were only on North
American models, so this vehicle would be original.

AFAIK, wing mirrors were never fitted in the factory.  They were often
fitted by the dealer.  There are catalogues (Moss UK and Rimmer) which show
the various types of wing mirror fitted in that period.
