A new twist for you all in addition to my last note. I have the
alternator with 4 wires plugging into it. There are 2 fat brown wires
and one brown/yellow wire in the plastic harness and then a small brown
wire that plugs in by itself.
The small brown wire is always hot with the battery hooked up. So I
unplugged it. The ignition lamp went out. Turned the key to the on
position, ignition lamp came on as it should as well as the brake light.
Are these symptoms pointing back to the alternator again?
