I just found a great web site : How Stuff Works http://www.howstuffworks.com/ Info on everything from car engines/transmissions (LBC content) to "See-n-Say", written in plain English. Nothing new for all you mavens out there, but fun reading all the same. I even found a diagram on how to build a "spud cannon", commonly used in college for launching tubers at high velocities <g> There are also off-site links to other interesting topics, like automotive braking systems at http://www.familycar.com/brakes.htm Randall 59 TR3A "daily driver wanna be" |
