drain pipe bulkhead TR6

Folks,
While inspecting the wiring I realized, that the reason for water coming
into the footwell is that the rubber hose that drains off the bulkhead is
missing. Now I clearly see where it connects on the top, but where is it
supposed to go, it looks as if it would drain into the a post in some way or
another, is that a good idea or are there other suggestions or is the hose
going through he post and through the sill?
