...and my story was the same basic thing, except it was the oil pressure line that got entangled. I had taped it, nicely, to some auxiliary wiring into a kind of harness. Leaving the race track campfire at about 1 ayem en route to a morning seminar, I lost oil pressure. All I felt in the steering was a "kink". Problem solved with vice grips an an ignorance of the oil condition. A friend with a 66 TR4a lost steering when his upper donut separated...turning into his driveway! Dave T Winnipeg |
