Ah, finally something auto related we have a better deal on over
here in Sweden. Finally... I've been getting more and more envious
when reading the material You sent me - but finally You gave me at
least a minute compensation... ;-)
Over here I pay SEK 418 [~USD 49] per year for the Spitfire, with
unlimited annual mileage and a car coverage of up to SEK 145600
[~USD 17160]. Coverage for injury to people [in or out of the car]
is unlimited... For the TR8 with the same terms I pay SEK 1182 per
year [~USD 139]. It is more expensive as compared to the Spitfire
simply because it is still not 20+ years old. When, in 2001, it is
the cost will be exactly the same for both cars. I might increase
the value of the '8 to "up to SEK 218400" [~USD 25740], then the
cost will increase to SEK 478 [~USD 56] per year...
The only restriction in this insurance scheme is that I'm not
allowed to use the vehicle as an every day transport or a vehicle
transporting [me, others or goods] for gain... Easy to live with I
think.
It's definitely not worth resettling to Sweden for, but...
Well, I'm still impressed with the possibilities automobile-vise
You all have over there...
Stay well my friend,
Kind regards
/Odd
