Hi Chad,
There are 3 options I am aware of with the 6 port (948/1147) engine:
1 - Complete Twin SU carb/manifold from an 1147cc Spitfire.
2 - Alexander Twin SU/Stromberg aftermarket setup
3 - Single SU conversion on the existing manifold.

Option 1 is most easily achieved as parts are plentiful.
Option 2 is incredibly rare (yes, I do have on, but I'm not parting with
it!) and has no advantages over option 1. In Stromberg form it uses
CD125 carburettors, making availability of parts more difficult than for
the Solex!
Option 3 might be difficult to find, but should provide a
straightforward installation without resorting to Twin Carbs. This is an
angled union which fits between the SU (HS4) carburettor and the
mounting point on the Solex manifold. These turn up occasionally at
autojumbles in the UK, but I have no experience of them in use.

I have also seen a single weber installation osing a fabricated tubular
manifold, but I suspect this is a one-off.

I am still running my 1200 saloon on an original setup. The Carb
Exchange, a UK based company are able to supply rebuilt Solex carbs on
exchange. I used them once for a Solex for a 948 I had a few years back,
cost was around 60 pounds, the carb was well done and service was
excellent. They have a website at:
http://www.carbex.demon.co.uk/
Several friends have used this company with equally good results (I
found them by recommendation)

Good luck, whichever solution you go with,
        Cheers,
                Bill.
