I had a little accident yesterday:
Fortunatly no other vehicles were involved, but a nice large 8" high curb
was. What was ruined? Radiator, front sway bar and linkage, and the left
hand side motor mount. The motor and fan all moved forward into the
radiatior upon impact, thus spewing coolant everywhere - motor moving
forward can be attributed to an old motor mount perhaps, but now it is
visibly bent. Sway bar appears reuseable, however the brackets and linkage
on the left hand side will need to be replaced. Surprisingly, the other
suspension and steering components appear to be unharmed!
Oh well, I'm guessing about $300 in parts today and a marathon run tonight
and the car will be back on the road tomorrow.
chocks away,
