An air compressor is not required if were talking about the trim "finisher
strip"  It is simply pried or pulled off.  They are retained by spring
clips about every 6-7 inches along the weld bead, and are just pushed on at
the factory.

Sorry, I'm afraid these are spot welded, and braised on, and generally not
easily removable.  Unless you destroy the "tub" to save the fenders, there
is really no practical way to remove them to be attached again at a later
date
