OK, I'll "dive" into this one! :-)

Originality is fine and, in many instances VERY DESIREABLE. However, if 
your bodyman can easily correct what one must assume was, well, 
"indifferent" assembly of the car, I can't imagine anyone complaining 
about that. Don't expect Lexus-like consistency of door seams or any 
other body seams, but there's nothing wrong with good panel alignment. 
Depending on how the misalignment shows itself, it might be considered a 
deduction by some judges.
