Paul , have you tried an air impact wrench yet?  Those babies will loosen just
about any stuck nut.  If you don't have one and can get to a tire shop, they
could loosen them for you. Or try heating them with a torch (but be careful not
to have any fuel lines or open containers of flammable fuel.
