All my steel lines have got some sort of "shortening curve" in them. It's
because when fabbing your own, always make them 2" too long so that if you
goof the flare, you've got 2 more chances before the line goes "back in
the box" (to become a shorter one for somewhere else)
Just put a wiggle or a loop in the line where it's inconspicuous. The
extra 2" won't affect braking in any way. If possible, try not to make a
high point where bubbles may collect.
