I just spoke to a technician at Jacobs Electronics. He told me that
he couldn't understand why the Jacobs System would cause the Crane unit to
fail. He did say that it could be possible for that to happen, though he
would not know exactly why since he wasn't familiar with the Crane unit.
However, he also told me that Jacobs Electronics sells the Petronix Ignitor
kit ( the one that fits entirely inside the dizzy cap )and have not had any
problems with that unit and their own systems. Unfortunately, they did not
stock the correct unit for my TR6. Fortunately, I know who does stock it.
