For those of you who have the juice -- IPD-- that big Volvo place-- offers kits 
to convert  to heated seats. I think they were $65-85 per bun warmer. They look 
generic enough to use in a Triumph seat. Probably not a good idea if you're 
running an old lucas generator....anyway:
