Call me crazy, but that does sound like a lot of money (I presume it's U.S.
? Then it's a HUGE amount of money up here in Canada). I once bought  an
entire 1974 parts car with J-type for under $1,000. Once again, the usual
disclaimer (no financial interest, blah, blah...), but have a look at the
website below, and work out the applicable exchange. Has anyone on the list,
anywhere, tried this or have heard of someone trying this? I wait patiently

Guru.
        Turn in my non overdrive unit. I'm sure he knows what he's doing and
would
        warranty his work.He wants  $1400. Is this unreasonable? I don't
know, so
        little is discussed about them.
