I recently took apart my transmission shifter to be cleaned while the transmission was out of the car. There are metal balls that are held against the shifter shafts by springs that hold the shafts in possition. Is there a way to get these back into position without removing the caps above the springs? If what is the correct procedure? Please help, the weater here is nice and I am going to go mad if another 70 degree sunny day goes buy and I'm driving a truck. |
