While not the nicest looking solution (do you really look under your seats all
that
often?), I wrap thin nylon cord in a spider-web fashion around the hooks in
addition
to the diaphrams. The cord provides additional support, but being nylon, still
allows
some give in the seat. (BTW - this is a great way to firm up a seat with a
split
diaphram without replacing.) If you are careful, you can lace the cord under
the
diaphram to hide it, but it still isn't a stock appearance if you flip the seat
up and
look underneath.
