Hi,
Regarding sway-bars...
I put Addco front and rear on my TR6. 7/8 front and 3/4 rear. I highly
reccommend this enhancement to your car. I only wish I had a Quaiffe now,
because with the rear bar as installed, I can easily pick up my inside rear
wheel on hard conering. Lots of wheel spin on the AutoX trail.
That being said, on my next car, Khartu, I will be putting on the R. Good
bars. The reason - you can tweak them as they are adjustable. For someone
just starting out, I would not recommend this approach - Art is right. If
the back is set up too stiff it is very easy to transition into oversteer.
Not a good thing in a street car.
Last thing. The Addco 3/4 rear is pretty stiff. When you combine the
reduced body roll, stiff springs and basically bald tires, the car is _very
easy_ to spin when driving in marginal wet conditions.
But is sure is fun!
Yeeee ha!

p.s. the bars do not change the spring rate, so the car rides pretty
comfortably... considering the 520 pound springs and urethane bushings all
around... I didn't get any bruises on my butt driving back and forth to
Minnesconsin!
