I am in the process of rebuilding the engine on my TR4-A and I am in need of
the Aluminum Core plugs which thread into a couple of areas in the block. I
had called the tech line at TRF and they knew immediately what I was talking
about, had the Part number off the top of their head, but said they had none
in stock (it does not show up in their catalog). This was in November. I
have had a back order since then. A call today still has the part back
ordered with no arrival date in site.
Does anyone know of a source where I can get these? TRF sells them as a
"stick" of nine. By the way, they are a Whitworth thread or I would just
make it myself.
